We need to talk about ‘Weeds’ for a minute.

Last nights episode, which happened to be both the first to last episode ever AND the 100th episode, was the greatest episode this show has made in a few seasons. They revisited Agrestic, which I refuse to refer to as Regrestic, and it went immediately back to it’s roots.

Nancy and Conrad are teaming up again, one of the greatest things that could have happened.

Silas and Megan are getting the second chance they always deserved.

Andy and Nancy’s feelings for each other were addressed for about 3 minutes, resulting in a scene so poignant that it made me cry for the first time ever at this show.

The only thing I’m not happy about is Shane. I feel like the writers did his character completely wrong this season. They’ve fucked him over repeatedly, and I’m tired of it. He didn’t get to go back home, and I don’t understand why Nancy just left him in jail.

I feel like they are setting up perfect endings for everybody but Shane. Even Doug’s charity is a good ending for his character. He’s always been selfish and now he might actually start doing the right thing. Not that I expect it, it would just be nice.

I feel like the only good ending for Shane would be to finally make it to Pittsburgh. He wanted it so bad as a kid, he should go now. I think it would satisfy everyone.

I’m not sure where I stand on Andy and Nancy being endgame now. It’s not that I don’t want them too, I’m just a little skeptical they will.

I have no idea how this show will end, but I have faith that Jenji did it right. Finales are her specialty.

I just realized a parallel between season 7 and 8… In season 7, ep. 5 Nancy gets a speech from the judge about being the Nancy that raised Silas. In a way it changed her perspective (not really in the end though). In the latest episode, which just happens to be the 5th episode of the season, Silas gets a speech that is supposed to change his outlook. So we’ll see how this goes…

It’s actually making me sad that all we can do is sit back and watch Weeds go down the shitter. Last week’s episode was really good, but they fucked it up this week. They focused too much on Andy and Jill and her stupid kids that literally NO ONE cares about. I really hate how they are trying to develop this storyline in their final season. It makes me a little mad how they’re wasting this time focusing on things that have no need to be covered.

Weed. That’s what this entire show is about. I understand that these characters have lives and drama and need developing, but if you make a show about selling drugs, INCORPORATE them somehow.

And get rid of Doug because his one-scene-each-episode-because-he-should-have-left-years-ago shit is getting ridiculously tired. I want him to fucking die or leave. He is so pointless that is literally makes me mad when he is on screen. I’ve never felt this negatively about a character before, and I watch a lot of tv.

Shows I need to re-watch: (this is mainly for my memory even though I’m tagging all the shows)

Dexter- Seasons 1-5. I need to re-watch the series basically before the premier in September.

Weeds- Seasons 2-7. I tried to re-watch the series before season 8 started, but all I got through was season 1 and part of 2.

Veronica Mars- Season 2-3. I started a VM re-watch a few months ago, but school got in the way. I was somewhere in season 2 when I left off.

Dead Like Me- Season 2. I watched most of season 1 last week and feel I might as well finish the series since it’s only 2 seasons and a shitty movie.

True Blood- Seasons 1-3. Like Weeds, I wanted to re-watch before the new season but I couldn’t find time. All I got to re-watch was season 4.

The O.C.- Seasons 1-4. It’s been so damn long since I’ve watched this show and it used to be one of my favorites. It is one of the first shows I ever marathoned while I was getting into t.v.

Breaking Bad- Seasons 1-4. I actually still have yet to see the last half of the fourth season… I’m so lazy. Hopefully in the next few days I can catch up.

The Big C- Seasons 1-2. I was severely disappointed by the third season, and I doubt it’s gonna get picked up for a 4th… unfortunately. Either way, I want to watch the first 2 seasons to get the rotten taste that season 3 left, out of my mind.

The Walking Dead- Season 2. I have not seen season 2, so I guess this isn’t technically eligible for this list. Either way, I need to see it although I know everything that happens.

Queer as Folk- Season 5. Same thing as Walking Dead, I have yet to see this season and I need to finish this series because I’m THIS CLOSE.

Others I wouldn’t mind re-watching just for the hell of it- United States of Tara, Party Down, Gossip Girl (seasons 1-2.), Californication.

Oh, how could I forget my favorite show that I have watched in it’s entirety the last 2 summers, Six Feet Under.

Weeds was so fucking good tonight. I feel like Jenji Kohan listened to all the criticism and fixed things that were wrong.

Nancy is coming around and I’m so glad. She’s becoming a better person and I think it’s exactly what she needs to do.

Silas is a freak. Damn. The only thing is I feel like the business is getting to him worse than it got to Nancy. I hope he doesn’t get too full of himself.

Andy and Jill can you please stop? I just don’t care for you guys much.

HAHAHAHA Doug is so pointless. What even was that stupid fucking scene?

Weeds re-watch.

I haven’t seen the first few seasons in a long time and it honesty feels like I’m watching a different show. I love Weeds no matter what, but like everyone says, it’s different now.

Hoping to finish all 7 seasons before season 8 on July 1st, which is 7 days. I can do it!

In my opinion the Weeds season 2 cliffhanger is probably the best of all time.

This year I’ve already had to say goodbye to One Tree Hill and Desperate Housewives

Now I have to say goodbye to Weeds, too.

All three shows had 8-9 seasons which is pretty fantastic, but it sucks to say goodbye.

I saw on the Weeds confessions blog that someone had posted “I think someone working for Ceila shot Nancy to eliminate competition.”

First of all, the Botwins were not even in California. Ceila was last seen in California, and the Botwins are in the suburbs somewhere undisclosed. Since Nancy and Ceila haven’t been in contact for several years, including 3 from her being in jail, how would Ceila know where Nancy was? It’s the biggest long shot to believe that.

I’m not hating on whoever said it for having an opinion, I’m just trying to justify the statement.

1. The first character I first fell in love with: Nancy, Ceila and Isabelle.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Ceila. I thought that from the first episode she was gonna be a pointless character (although I still loved her) but she turned the fourth and fifth seasons into something worth watching.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Andy and Doug. I’m sorry.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Nancy.
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Actually, I guess Doug and Andy would be in this category since I used to like them.
6. The character I would totally smooch: Nancy.
7. The character I’d want to be like: I’d probably have to say Silas just cause he’s good looking. He makes the dumbest decisions though.
8. The character I’d slap: ALL OF THEM.
9. A pairing that I love: Nancy and Judah. Isabelle and Shane as friends.
10. A pairing that I despise: Nancy and Andy. They ran them straight into the ground.
